Happy World Emoji Day! Thailand appears on Zuckerberg’s list of top 10 countries using emojis

Today is World Emoji Day and Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg released some information from the social media giant about the countries that use the most emojis on the site and which emoji is each country’s favorite.

Though many countries were peeved to be left off the list, the ranking only takes into account the nations that use emojis the most.

Of course, the small nation of Thailand, with just 67 million people, appeared on the list alongside giants like the U.S. because Thais are mad for social media, being one of the most active countries in the world.

Can you guess which emoji Thais like the best?

No surprise for the “Land of Smiles” that Thais prefer this genuinely happy face.

However, this one, that depicts laughing so hard you’re crying, is the most popular around the world:

The other countries that made the prestigious list are: Mexico, the U.S., Brazil, the U.K., Germany, Italy, Indonesia, France, and Spain.
