An elderly French tourist died on a Paris-Bangkok flight as the plane landed at Suvarnabhumi International Airport this morning.

The deceased Henri Gavet, 65, was coming to Thailand with his friend for vacation. Upon landing, his friend tried to wake him up, but Gavet did not respond.

Authorities suspected that the man’s respiratory system failed and caused his death, reported Kapook.

Once landed at Gate F6, the Poh Teck Tung foundation transported his body to Bangplee Hospital, and then to the Police General Hospital for an autopsy.
