A man’s body was found in Khlong Lat Phrao this morning.
His body was found with THB60, an ID card and mobile phone, Khaosod English reported.
The deceased was identified as Phongphan Triamornlert, 55, who lived near the Pracha Uthit community by the canal.
“We suspect that he drowned, as no wounds were found on his body,” said Wang Thonglang police lieutenant Phisanu Thatsanayan.
Neighbors said Phongphan was known for a drinking habit and believed he had fallen into the canal after getting drunk, police said.
Doctors at Police General Hospital are examining the body.
