A sister of comedy legend Mum Jokmok was arrested for possession of crystal meth at her home in the Huai Khwang district.
Tiemjai Wongkamlao, known on stage as “Waew Jokmok,” was arrested while having dinner in a room at the Thai RC Hotel with 0.37 grams of speed and drug paraphernalia.
Police said Tiemjai’s arrest led them to three more people at the hotel with drugs. Police said they were tipped off that Tiemjai was selling drugs, so they requested a search warrant.
The comedian will be questioned and prosecuted, Matichon reported.
