A century-old memorial to British soldiers killed during World War I in Thailand was formally unveiled at its new home yesterday.

After being left homeless by the sale and demolition of the British Embassy on Phloen Chit Road, the British War Memorial was rededicated Thursday at a ceremony attended by British Ambassador Brian Davidson, First Sea Lord Adm. Tony Radakin and other officials alongside members of the British community.

It can now be found on the grounds of The British Club next to the Neilson Hays Library on Suriwong Road.
