Following weeks of burning summer weather, the temperature in Bangkok began to drop this week and, after a surprise downpour last night, it’s likely that Bangkok will have to deal with heavy rains for the rest of the week, predicted Thai Meteorological Department.
The strong southwest monsoon that is prevailing over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf has caused Thailand to endure rains again, but we can expect less rain after Sunday.
This week, Bangkok should get isolated and heavy rains in 60-70 percent of the city.
Weather.com also predicts it will rain every day until the end of the month, so keep that umbrella in your purse or briefcase.
