For many Bangkokians, their worst nightmares involves being stuck in close proximity to cockroaches. That is exactly what happened to one woman, on, of all places, the back of a motorcycle after one of the creepy insects crawled onto the back of her moto-taxi driver.

Eeesh.

The post by Facebook user Mooku Yusuk has been shared over 10,000 times since Sunday and included a horrifying, upclose picture of the cockroach that emerged in front of her face on a ride back to her condo.

“It rained heavily today. There was even some flooding. My driver complained that the cockroaches must be coming with the flood. I chuckled lightly, and then my eyes caught this thing! Ahhhhh!” she wrote.

“I screamed inside. What should I do? I was so tense. Then the driver said: ‘Can you sit still? It’s hard for me to drive.’ I thought to myself, ‘Fuck no, I’m gonna get off.”

“Then the little creature looked at me. We looked at each other as if we knew each other,” she wrote.

“I wanted to get to my condo fast, but I was scared the little one would be blown onto me. It climbed all over the driver and stopped on his helmet. He started speeding and I told him, ‘It’s ok. I’m not in a rush. Drive slowly.”

At the end, she arrived at the condo, unscathed and still traumatized.

“Why me?” she wrote.

Of course, after the photo went viral, a karaoke meme page grabbed it pretty quickly.

Translation: “What should I do from now on?”
