Bangkok sunflowers in full blossom just in time for your New Year selfies

Here’s something to literally brighten up your day.

You no longer need to drive two hours to Lopburi just to take a sunflower selfie.

Lat Phrao district announced yesterday that their sunflowers, planted over 16,000 square-meter land on the roadside of Prasert Manukit road (behind Satriwitthaya 2 School), are now in bloom and ready to welcome visitors again.

The project was started in 2004 when Lat Phrao district gained the ownership of the land and turned the empty roadside into a relaxing green/ yellow space for Bangkokians.
