Bangkok condo’s ‘helpful’ form for tenants bringing ‘ladyboys’ to their room

One Bangkok condo appears to be going the extra mile to protect their tenants by providing them with a form when they attempt to take a trans guest up to their room.

The form and we’re not even gonna imagine the uncomfortable exchange when it’s presented — asks if the tenant is aware that their guest is trans and if they still want to invite them in. It gets even more awkward when it asks if the tenant has already, um, arranged a price for having their “ladyboy” guest visit their room.

To prolong the weirdness, it then warns the tenant that a trans guest might fight with them over money and implies that a trans person might steal their valuables.

To add insult to injury, it refers to trans guests as “these entertainment people” in the last sentence.

Of course, this condo is in Nana. The form appears to be issued by Onyx Complex on Sukhumvit Soi 4.

This form raises all kinds of questions. Is the juristic person just guessing at which guests are trans? Does it not take into account whether a trans person and a tenant might just be hanging out and not having transactional sex?

But the main question it brings up is: Wouldn’t their tenants just like some privacy when making their own life decisions?
