Another child dies from Ratchaprasong grenade attack

A second child, age 6, died from Sunday afternoon’s explosion at Ratchaprasong protest site, Ramathibodi Hospital announced this morning.

Cake, 6, died from liver failure and a brain contusion this morning. Her brother was Ken, the 4-year-old-boy who died last night from his injuries.

Another 9-year-old boy who suffered from brain swelling and a lung contusion remains in serious condition.

Currently, there are four other men and three women recovering from the explosion at Ramathibodi Hospital.

Sua, the father of Ken and Cake, told the press he took his only two children to Big C Ratchadamri on Sunday and did not join the protest.

The father vaguely asked for someone to take responsibility for his children’s death but did not blame any political group. He showed a picture of his children to the press, Sanook reported.
