AirAsia kicks man off flight for carry-on rage (VIDEO)

A man was kicked off a domestic flight to Bangkok yesterday after he threw a tantrum over the overweight carry-on bag he’d thrown out the door.

The unidentified passenger had boarded the flight from Nakhon Sri Thammarat when the cabin crew decided to weigh his bag, which they then told him was too heavy to board the plane. So the passenger got rid of it by chucking it out the cabin door, simple as that.

“Do I have weapons? You have no right to banish me from the plane!” he shouts in a video capturing the moment. “What rule states I cannot get on the plane? Because I shout?!”

While most of us have shamelessly carried aboard a bag heavier than seven kilograms (all trying to make it look smaller and lighter than it really is), weight checks can and do happen.

However there’s a sure way to avoid getting kicked off the plane: remain calm and don’t be a jerk about it.

Instead of just paying the THB900 fee to have the bag checked, the man’s temper tantrum caused the cabin crew to “invite him off the plane.”

“I threw away the bag,” he shouted. “What else do you want?”

He was reportedly dragged out by airport security, and the plane departed from after a 30-minute delay.
