Take That and Party! Pop trio lands in Bangkok ahead of concert

Batten down the hatches and prepare for hordes of screaming fans going wild: boy-turned-man band Take That have landed in Bangkok.

The British trio of Mark Owen, Gary Barlow and Howard Donald were mobbed by fans and reporters as they arrived in Suvarnabhumi International Airport this morning, ahead of their gig tomorrow at Impact Arena.

The Mancunian band happily chatted to fans and posed for selfies, retweeting fans who were thrilled to meet them.

The boy band first found fame in the 1990s as a five-member band with members Robbie Williams and Jason Orange, with several hit singles like “It Only Takes A Minute” and “Relight My Fire.” They went on to become one of the most successful boy bands in UK chart history.

The group disbanded shortly after Robbie left in 1995, making a surprise comeback as a quartet ten years later in 2005 with hits like “Shine” and “The Flood.” Robbie joined again in 2010 but left again in 2014, with Jason soon following.

Tickets for the concert tomorrow are still available at ThaiTicketMajor.
