The guys behind the nostalgic ’80s-inspired score of one of Netflix’s most popular miniseries, the sci-fi horror show Stranger Things, will be coming to Bangkok for a live performance scheduled for November 23.

Gig promoter Have you Heard announced today that Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein will bring the music of the hit series – from all three seasons – to a Bangkok venue, and that the music will be performed “alongside a supernatural neon light show.”

Dixon and Stein are the duo responsible for Stranger Things’ dreamy, synth-heavy, retro-futuristic scores, such as its haunting theme song and, of course, the Season 3 surprise hit “NeverEnding Story” — which, even if you haven’t seen the show (and don’t plan to), you’re still likely to run into memes and parodies of the song, such a recent spoof put out by American late-night TV hosts Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert.

The composers are also founding members of an Austin-based electronic band called Survive.

Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein performing music from Stranger Things will take place starting at 8:30pm on Nov. 23 at the KBank Siam Pic-Ganesha theater on the seventh floor of the Siam Square One shopping mall.

Tickets, all for assigned seating, range from THB1,600 to THB2,000 each and will go on sale online at 10am on Thursday, Aug. 1.
