Siam Paragon is lighting up the New Year’s celebration with their stylish take on the special occasion in ‘Siam Paragon Celebrates The Festival of Light 2019.’ All three shopping centers that make up OneSiam (Siam Paragon, Siam Center, and Siam Discovery) will be illuminated with bright and luminous colors, not to mention a ton of dazzling installations.
Get on the BTS Skytrain to Siam Station (the easiest way to get to Siam Paragon, by far) to witness their signature Crystal Walk, a radiantly lit tunnel where you can get the best shots to feed your Instagram. Of course, don’t leave without checking out the luminous Crystal Tree which is built to a towering height of 15m!
Walk over to Siam Center, and it’ll be impossible to miss the trippy, optical illusion art, whose work was curated by world-renowned street artist and graphic designer Felipe Pantone. It features a re-imagined Christmas tree made of reflecting mirror planes, LED lights, and neon bulbs. We love how Felipe’s artwork seamlessly plays along with OneSiam’s festive theme.
A feast of shows
Novel performances by highly-acclaimed performance troupes exhibit Siam Paragon’s unparalleled Christmas cheer. They are really going above and beyond to deliver the biggest extravaganza in town!
From The Netherlands, Teatro Pavana has prepped a show of upbeat dance, performed by their very own senoritas. Performers from Theater Tol, brought to you from Belgium, will be finessing their stunt moves in the air as they perform ‘Bike Parade.’ It might even send chills down your spine! Lastly, a graceful performance of Romantic Carillion, hailing from Rome, is all about a powerful vocal showcase, complemented by silky smooth piano tunes.
Simply put, Siam Paragon, as well as OneSiam, have special performances for various groups of shoppers along with live concerts from Thailand’s biggest artists in the music scene, including Burin Boonvisut, Tu Popetorn, and cult-favorite Moderndog, packed in Siam Paragon Celebrates Festival of Light 2019 to mark an exceptional New Year’s event.
