A nightlife hot spot will rise again in vintage neon-lit glory starting tonight.
VHS Club is calling tonight a soft opening, following a resurgence of clubbing venues reopening with new health code certification.
Just inside the alley between sois Sukhumvit 13 and 15, VHS Club drew partygoers with a neon-glow recalling a late-night ‘80s video rental store, including an arcade machine.
Depending on the day, the music ranges from funk and soul to hip-hop and disco.
On weekends, the club is also the new home of Mustache Bangkok, one of the popular underground house and techno venues whose original location in Ratchada was shuttered due to COVID and too-high rent.
The new space has been occupied by a series of clubs such as Rex BKK, Club 15, and Space 999.
