American comedy legend Dave Chappelle is on his way to Bangkok, organizer Bec-Tero Entertainment announced this afternoon.
Known for his zeitgeist-shaping Chappelle’s Show running in early noughties, Chappelle, 46, disappeared from the stage for years until somewhat recently when he produced two Netflix stand-up specials.
He won an Emmy in 2017 for a guest appearance on Saturday Night Live. His Netflix specials include The Age of Spin, Deep in the Heart of Texas and Sticks & Stones.
Chappelle will perform Jan. 19 at GMM Muang Thai Live House on the eighth floor of CentralWorld. Tickets, from THB2,500 to THB4,000, go on sale Thursday.
