If you still follow Joe Jonas from the Disney Channel—also a former member of the Jonas Brothers—you’d know that he ditched Disney and went for the dance-rock aesthetic instead with his new band, DNCE.
Guess he is still nostalgic for the “Camp Rock” days.
The band, famous for their meaningful songs such as “Cake by the Ocean,” “Toothbrush,” and “Pay My Rent” is bringing (at least) one of the Jonas brothers back into the spotlight.
If you are a true DNCE fan, though, it’s your lucky day. On August 10, Jonas and the squad are to perform on the 8th floor of CentralWorld, at the Muangthai GMM Live House. Tickets will go on pre-sale June 23 for Live Nation members. The sales is open to the public on June 25.
Other members of DNCE include Jack Lawless, the drummer, and guitarist JinJoo Lee. These artists, who have played for famous singers such as Ocean Grove and CeeLo Green, will be showing off their talents at the concert as well.
Meanwhile, bass player Cole Whittle was a previous member of NYC garage band Semi Precious Weapons, which toured with Lady Gaga.
The opening act will feature Sekai No Owari from Japan, and Gnash, an American DJ who gained fame through SoundCloud and his song “I Hate You, I Love You”.
On June 25, the official tickets will be on sale for THB2,500 all around (please note that they are standing tickets). You can find them on the Thai Ticket Major website.
