Get laid again: Tonight is a great night to pray for love, says famous fortune teller

No one talks to you at the bar? Keep getting unmatched on Tinder? Think Bangkok is a great city to bang, but a hopeless place to find love? Great news, tonight is the perfect night for you to pray to no longer be alone.

Tonight, while China celebrates it’s Moon Festival, famed Thai fortune-teller Todsaphon Sritula has suggested that those of you who feel unfortunately single can take advantage of some very lucky conditions in the sky .

Todsaphon, better known as “Mor Chang,” said that the moon will be at its most powerful tonight, and that provides a perfect opportunity to pray to the God of Love.

He suggested that those looking for love, “Stand facing the East, light 3-5 incense sticks and chant a verse from the Book of Moon early in the evening. End the ritual by saying ‘Sae Sung Mangkalung Yajami.”

Mor Chang added that those praying for love should also offer a couple of mooncakes to the moon. For ladies who want to guarantee their success, throw some cosmetics and perfume into your offering as well. You can set everything on a table in front of you.

“We have to present beautiful things because there’s a belief that they will increase your charm,” Mor Chang explained.

If you’re feeling especially hopeless or desperate, you can add gold and silver paper, a couple of candles and clean water to absorb the power of the moon.

For those of you who are truly on your A game, you can also offer one of each of these five fruits: grapefruit, banana, orange, pear and grapes.

At the end, eat your offerings and pour the clean water on the top of your head. Yes, really.

Mor Chang added that the prayers and ceremony are not only for singletons. Couples can also pray together to intensify their love. In the case of twosomes, they should share bits of the food after they have offered them to the moon, Thairath reported.
