If your favorite F words are food, film and French, head to Cafe 1912 for a movie night with wine and cheese on the menu.

Cafe 1912, on the first floor of the Alliance Francaise, will host a screening of “The Salesman,” an Oscar-winning Iranian film. Although the film is entirely in Persian, Thai and English subtitles will be provided.

Directed by Asghar Farhadi, “The Salesman” is about a married couple who perform Arthur Miller’s play “Death of a Salesman” on stage, and the wife is assaulted. Her husband attempts to determine the identity of the attacker, while she struggles to cope with post-trauma stress.

The movie has won countless international awards, including the Academy Award for “Best Foreign Language Film of the Year,” and “Best Actor” and “Best Screenplay,” at The Cannes Film Festival 2016.

Before the film, enjoy a platter of cold cuts and cheese for THB250 and a glass of wine for THB100 once you show your movie tickets at the Cafe 1912 counter. Refreshments are available from 6pm, and the movie begins at 8pm.

You can purchase tickets online or at door for THB120.
