This is Imagine Dragons’ second live performance in Bangkok
The 2014 Grammy Award winners for Best Rock Performance first came to Bangkok for a sold-out show in 2015 on their “Smoke + Mirrors Tour”. So we already know they love Thailand and Thai fans really matter to them. One world, one love, right? Join fans all over the globe and experience this one of a kind tour. It kicked off on Sept. 26 in North America and will head to Asia in January before concluding in Europe in April 2018.
Don’t worry, you’ll hear all their earlier hits, but the heart of the tour is their new album, “Evolve”. The album is minimalistic, brutally honest, and sometimes, surprisingly tender. The emotional lead single Believer is packed with bold percussive vocals and hip-hop-inspired rhythms; it’s a testament to gaining strength through adversity.
It’s Imagine Dragons’ big return after a year-long break from touring
Despite the minimalistic approach of “Evolve”, Imagine Dragons achieve a rich complexity due in part to their year-long break from touring.
The band took time out to recharge and search their souls and now they’re back with a new mindset and a greater sense of openness, which translates to their music. They took home the American Music Award for Favorite Duo or Group, Pop/Rock and performed a much-lauded medley of Thunder and Young, Dumb & Broke with Khalid at the event in Los Angeles, California.

“Evolve” takes on a brighter but more layered emotional outlook. It even offers up a selection of love songs. With its delicate guitar tones and tender vocals, Walking the Wire centers on what lead singer Dan Reynolds describes as “a tumultuous relationship that feels like it’s going to collapse at any moment—but that’s what makes it exciting.” We’re excited to hear it, Dan!
