Damien Rice to perform in Bangkok

Known for his bittersweet lyrics, singer-songwriter Damien Rice, will make his solo concert debut in Bangkok in June.

The 42-year-old Dubliner will sing tunes from his three albums at the concert “Damien Rice live in Bangkok” on June 2 at Central Plaza Ladprao.

Rice, a former member of 90s band Juniper, started his solo music career in 2001 and went on to find success and critical acclaim with albums O, 9, and My Favorite Faded Fantasy.

Be prepared to catch his live performance of meaningful songs such as Cold Water, Volcano, Cannonball and The Blower’s Daughter, which landed him a Shortlist Music Prize award.

Tickets will be available at ThaiTicketMajor on March 26. Prices range from THB1,000 – THB3,000.
