Presale tickets for the fifth edition of Kolour in the Park, the popular art and techno music festival in Bangkok, started yesterday.

Kolour — the collective of veteran party organizers behind the event — has been known to push the envelope of Bangkok’s electronic party scene. One of the things that the group is known for is scouting offbeat locations for their parties, whether they’re held on the riverside, in a warehouse, or on a beach.

Their next Kolour in the Park event will take place next year on Saturday, March 2 at Thai Wake Park, located in the Lam Luk Ka District on the outskirts of Bangkok.

Featuring three stages of international artists, plus immersive stage art and large-scale visual art installations, the festival looks like it’s going to be a big one — and, one which Kolour says will go “well into the morning.”

If thriftiness and/or planning ahead is your thing (it is ours), then you’ll want to get on those early bird tickets while they’re still priced at THB1,200 (about US$37) a pop — after that, the ticket costs will increase to THB1,500 after the batch of early bird tickets runs out. Visit their website for more information on ticket purchases.

And, if the name sounds familiar to those of you who haven’t even been to their parties before, it’s probably because the party organizers made headlines in recent months: At the end of August, photos from their Kolour Beachside party went viral after a few guests were filmed getting their freak on in the very public pool.

Hopefully this time around, the party won’t get so … TV-MA.
