From regularly visited gastropubs and rooftop bars with panoramic views to award-winning fine-dining, here are some holiday destinations sorted for every budget, from under THB2,000 to over THB10,000.

Bei Otto

Feast: On Christmas Eve, the buffet features everything from cheese, cold cuts, and smoked fish to grilled sausages, honey-glazed ham, and Christmas goose and duck, plus classic sweets. On Christmas and Boxing Day, drop by for three-course lunch sets, offering a choice of quarter-roasted Christmas duck, pork tenderloin in puff pastry, or goat cheese ravioli, plus pumpkin soup and baked apple rings with rum raisin ice cream.

Feast: A sharing-style Christmas feast with food by chef Arnie Marcella and wine pairing by Wine Garage. Dishes include Brittany oysters, sea bass crudo with coconut and caviar, charred carrots and rocket salad, porchetta with pineapple, and truffled beef shank rigatoni. 

Place: The outdoor terrace on the ground level gets turned into your home for the holidays.

Feast: A three-course Christmas meal with an option of organic roasted turkey roulade, pan-seared halibut, grilled Australian wagyu ribeye, or vegan roast for a main, all with sides like maple-glazed carrots, parmesan roasted potatoes, and brussel sprouts, plus Christmas pudding and fruit mince for dessert. Everyone of age gets a glass of prosecco, too.

Feast: Tuck into a dim sum tower for two with two drinks (sparkling wine, local beer, house wine, soft drinks, or juice), or level up for a whole bottle of house or sparkling wine. On Christmas, come back for a set menu for two of Cantonese dishes.

Place: Take in the Bangkok skyline from one of the best 360-degree vantages in Silom and Sathorn.

Feast: This festive a la carte menu takes its inspiration from the European countryside with dishes like fresh Sicilian Mazara del Vallo red prawns served with Japanese hen clams tartar (THB990), Basque-style baked spider crab “txangurro” (THB1,490), and roasted Ibérico baby lamb shoulder (THB2,290).

Place: The grand old villa on Rama 4 combines a classic Italian steakhouse with Portuguese flavors.

Feast: Expect festive flavors in the form of smoked duck, chestnut pastry puffs, and oven-roasted turkey with all the trimmings. L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon’s former executive pastry chef is in charge of desserts, too.
