Waiting for the end of the year is as brutal as a slow day at work. Watching the clock until 6pm only to realize that it’s been just a few minutes, not hours. However, before we all get to the glorious month of December, there’s something in November to keep our minds sane and stomachs fed — it’s Singha Food Fest 3!

Like the expression goes, ‘Third time’s a charm.’ And it really is for all Bangkokians and urban tourists because this third edition of Singha Food Fest will be held at the Renaissance Hotel Bangkok…you know, just under BTS Chidlom station, at the heart of our CBD (and just a few steps from your office, for some of you lucky ones).

What to expect?

If the name isn’t bold and tempting enough, we’ll be glad to say it again: Food! Like its predecessor, Singha Food Fest 3 will welcome back over 40 of Bangkok’s mouthwatering food vendors who’ll be grilling, BBQ-ing, deep-frying, seasoning, battering, flaming, blending, stir-frying, baking, searing, and sauteing your favorite dishes, bites, shakes, cakes and every treat you can think of. This food fest will make November feel like a serious New Year’s feast!

Some food vendors you can eagerly expect at Singha Food Fest 3 are Kinza Gyoza, the dumpling makers responsible for keeping Foodpanda and Line Man delivery guys waiting; Potate, the guys who introduced Bangkok to churro-like potato strips in all types of flavors, Mhoo Grob Akong (Grandpa’s crispy pork) are behind some of the crunchiest pork belly in town (don’t forget to pair it with their sweet chili dip); or try Bangkok’s current food craze — raw crab in hot and sour sauce (just beware of the garlic breath if you decide to make this food fest a date night).

Attention to those who love eating freebies at supermarkets, there’s something more to love about this food festival because Singha taster cups will be prepped at each vendor so that you can get to nibble on tons of free food samples.

Grab a pint, or two, or more.

What’s a food festival without pairing spicy and flavor-bursting food with some cold beer, right? Singha is great paired with everything from Thai food to french fries.

Sip draught or bottled lagers from Thailand’s longest-serving beer maker at Singha Food Fest 3. Yes, that’s your dose of fun fact for the day — Singha is Thailand’s first brewery. So, pop open a can and get ready to enjoy finger food, noodles, rice, and so many more dishes with ice cold beer.

Come for the food, stay for the beer, and keep partying thanks to the entertainment.

Yes, this event, third of its name, is known for delivering Bangkok’s greatest street food, technically it’s not on the street, but you get the point. You can cool down with fresh draught beer or bottles to quench your thirst, but you can’t fully enjoy the night without great ambience. That’s something you won’t have to worry about because Singha Food Fest 3 is returning with a lineup of some of Thailand’s top names in pop-rock including Stamp, Mild, Getsunova, Pause and more.

If live bands aren’t enough for you, keep dancing to DJs bringing you a preview of next year’s Kolour music event. Managed and organized by Kolour, it’ll bring together an eclectic mix of techno-styled DJs at Thai Wake Park in 2019, but do expect to get a glimpse of what’s in store at Singha Food Fest 3.

Where: Renaissance Hotel Bangkok (BTS Chidlom station)
Date: Nov 30 – Dec 2, 2018
Time: 4pm – 10pm
