If you ever start to wonder why so many people visit Thailand each year, just take one bite of spicy somtum or crispy kai yaang and remember this: Thai food is freakin’ amazing! And (obviously!) it’s most authentic right here at home in our chili-loving kingdom.

Bangkok’s Siam neighborhood has a reputation as Southeast Asia’s most fashionable district as well as one of the go-to places for ridiculously delicious Thai food. So we are happy to announce that, together with the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Amazing Thai Taste campaign, there’s a new Thai food and fashion extravaganza to be found at Siam Paragon called Siam Food Festival.

To top off this over the top affair, food won’t be served in stalls or carts. Nope, get ready to dine from Bangkok’s most iconic mode of transportation, the humble, colorful, ever-fascinating tuk tuk. The event features 33 tuk tuks, with each tuk tuk decorated by different artists and with their own unique styles.

At Siam Food Festival, you don’t have to go on an adventure around town to find Bangkok’s renowned restaurants. The event features famous Thai restaurants in the Siam neighborhood, including Rod Dee Det, Doo Dee Noodles, and Lim Lao Ngow Bistro. These noodle restaurants have been in the Siam area for almost a century.

The festival also features top restaurants from Siam Paragon, Siam Center and Siam Discovery including Laem Charoen Seafood, Nara, Kang Ban Phe Noodle & Seafood Cafe, Food Republic, My Kitchen, Sansab, Tiew Taa Toh, Café Chilli and Homsuwan Pina Pina.

Southeast Asia is not only known for its food, but also for its unique fruits. Stay tuned for the parade of Thai fruits straight out of the farm.

A meal could never be completed without a plate of rice for us Thais. At Siam Food Festival, you can find a stall of Thai rice produced by Thai farmers. Just grab a pack and pair it with spicy Tom Yum soup tonight, perhaps?

Tuk Tuk Parade
Not only does this event have a food exhibition at Siam Paragon, but there is also a parade of tuk tuks around Bangkok. There’s also a row of beautifully designed Tuk Tuks by famous Thai artists. You can find them just right in front of Siam Paragon. Just a perfect spot for your next Instagram photo!

Ready for a Bangkok-worthy joyride complete with yummy food? Hail a Tuk Tuk in your area and head to Siam Paragon then! We’ll see you there!
