Sandwiches for lunch, Bangkok? Italian eatery drops ‘La Bomba’ in your moutha

The team behind Italian powerhouse Clara is adapting to Bangkok’s restriction-battered dining by dropping La Bomba, an Italian sandwich delivery service designed to upend the average midday meal.

Led by Chef Christian Martena and sous chef Simone Scarparo, La Bomba cranks out gourmet sandwiches featuring homemade focaccia generously filled with top-of-the-line ingredients. Feast on sandwiches like the Porca (THB360); which comes filled with a 48-hour porchetta, salsa verde, pickled romaine, lettuce, crunchy pork skin and parsley mayo; or the Rossa (THB380); which is loaded with spicy nduja, peppermint sausage, loquat confit, fried bell peppers and smoked tomato.

Those who want to skip the meat can do so with the Pura (THB340); a harmonious blend of piennolo tomatoes, rocket, charcoal-grilled eggplant, melted buffalo mozzarella and basil pesto.

Dessert comes in the form of an on-trend Italian donut (THB320) filled with vanilla, mascarpone cream and nutella.

La Bomba is available for delivery via Line Man (@Bombabkk) from noon to 7pm, Monday through Saturday. They offer free delivery to the Silom, Sathorn and Asoke areas.
