In the battle for supremacy among Bangkok’s convenience store chains, FamilyMart is coming on strong — it has just launched a working space with free wifi on the second floor of its Sukhumvit Soi 33 branch last week.

Complete with freshly-cooked meals, packaged snacks, baked goods, and coffees as well as non-edible necessities like toilets and internet the store aims to be a meeting spot for professionals and students, since it’s conveniently located near BTS Phrom Phong station.

For coffee alone, it has two different brands inside — Italian coffee brand Segafredo, where an espresso comes at THB70 a cup, and FamilyMart’s own brand for customers seeking a less luxurious experience.

To enhance its Japanese convenience store appeal, the FamilyMart on Sukhumvit Soi 33 (also known as “your new office”)  also has gashapon, the Japanese capsule toy machines available, in case you need a distraction from your spreadsheet.

The store is at the top of Sukhumvit Soi 33. It is open daily from 8am-midnight.
