Nutella ice cream is coming to Siam Square, let the holiday binging begin

Looks like 2016 may not be a totally terrible year after all, since a dessert shop in Siam Square will start selling Nutella ice cream soon.

Mochiron, a Thai-owned dessert hot spot on Siam Square soi 10, drove Facebook users wild this weekend when they posted a snapshot of a creamy Nutella ice cream that will be added to the shop’s menu of Nutella treats soon.

The shop’s owner Puttarat Horwang said they will actually use original Nutella spread to make their ice cream, so it’s guaranteed to not taste like a frozen Nutella copycat.

The ice cream will come in a cup for THB59, and you can add toppings for a fee. The official launch date has not been confirmed, but Pattarat said it should be no later than next week.

With a reputation built from crafting delightful steamed buns with uncommon fillings such as cheese and kimchi, Mochiron has also been selling Nutella cookies and bread like hot cakes recently.

“Our Nutella cookies and bread have received such great feedback from customers, and I’d like Mochiron to be a spot for Nutella frenzy that you can hop in and have all types of Nutella treats,” he told Coconuts.

In the future, the shop may run promotions that allow customers to try all three Nutella desserts for a special price.

Now who still has dieting as their 2017 New Year’s resolution?
