Get juicy burgers soaked in neon and ‘Bang Bang’ sauce in Soi 11

Bangkok may be flush with burger joints, but Bang Bang on Soi 11 brings new energy to its ever-growing list.

Designed by award-winning Shelley Kwok (Siri House, Rongros, Long Chim Singapore), Bang Bang’s bright, dive bar-like concept is filled with in-your-face colors, neon lights and loads of Americana.

The space is meant to pay homage to great athletes and artists who’ve made a “bang,” so to speak, in their careers, with references to pop art, street art, boxing, and B movies. Combined with a focus on classic comfort food, it’s a funky concept that recalls the bars and restaurants of Hong Kong’s Sheung Wan district.

The menu is straightforward: burgers, sandwiches, and sides with tons of house-made sauces.

The beef is grass-fed, but diners can opt for a plant-based or lamb patty. Go for the Duke (THB290), a classic made with your choice of meat, cheddar cheese, pickled red onions, and their trademark Bang Bang sauce on a brioche bun. The Iron Mike (THB165) is a smaller smash burger that features Hawaiian bread, a smashed beef patty, American cheese, and sauteed onions: a warm ode to American classic White Castle.

The Chicky Chicky Bang Bang (THB260), meanwhile, comes with a juicy fried chicken thigh, pickled jalapenos, red onion, lettuce, and knock-out sauce.

The fun side dishes include larb fries with aioli sauce (THB185), jalapeno croquettes (THB190), pork cracklings (THB85), or just straight up fries (THB100) with your choice of sauce.

For drinks, there are sodas for now, but expect a selection of beers once Thailand allows alcohol to be sold on-site again.

The restaurant is open for dine-in, including outdoor seating, as well as delivery.
