A crowd-pleasing Italian diner off Soi Sukhumvit 36 recently has launched Aperitivo Italiano – a new, chic, happy-hour session perfect for Thonglor folks to wind down before sundown with some Italian bites and booze.
A spacious outdoor garden and al fresco second floor terrace of L’Oliva are now open for pre-dinner recipes to pair with some lively, low-ABV drinks.

Helmed by chef Gabriele Luna, of About Eatery pasta fame, the dishes include Crocchette Di Parma (deep fried breaded parma ham and homemade bechamel sauce for THB180) and Pizza Romana Board, a plate of assorted Roman-style pizza slices (THB290 small plate, THB490 large plate).
Need to ditch the carbs for the day? Go for the Crudo Plate that comes packed with fresh raw seafood. The offering each day depends on what’s freshly caught from the sea, so don’t hesitate to ask the staff. A Party Board (THB690) is an optional perfect-for-sharing platter of calamari, cheese, cured meats and more. A buy-one-get-one drink promo is included.
It’s not aperitivo hours without some classic Italian cocktails. Grab the bubbly Campari Spritz or Aperol Spritz priced at THB290. The other cocktails come in plenty to choose from, like dirty martini (THB390), rosemary negroni (THB290) and Italian-style margarita (THB300).
L’Oliva’s Aperitivo Italiano runs 4pm to 7pm every day. The venue is located in Soi Napa Sap 2, just off Soi Sukhumvit 36. It’s only a few minutes by foot from BTS Thong Lo.
