Here we go again! It seems we can never say no to brunch date, so let us whisk you away to The District Grill Room and Bar, Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit’s award-winning restaurant, for one of the finest Sunday brunches in Bangkok. The minute you walk in, you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome and the cool vibes of New York’s meatpacking district. Be delighted by the groovy ambiance and the wafting aroma of premium produce and ingredients from the kitchen. Cue the tummy growling!
Let’s start our Sunday culinary journey with super fresh seafood on ice including Normandy and Fine de Claire oysters, mussels, tiger prawns, and Alaskan king crab legs. Next, try a bite or two (or several) of black pepper cured salmon, smoked Scottish salmon, orange dill cured salmon, fish tartar, the signature salad with crunchy veggies, and of course caviar! Feast on a wide selection of cheese in the cheese room and sample savory cold cuts from the carving station.
What we like best about the Sunday brunch here is the great selection of signature dishes from The District’s a’ la carte menu featuring (drum roll please) rich and juicy grilled Canadian lobster, beautifully seared Hokkaido scallops with a hint of smoked flavor and sweetness, scrumptious grilled Norwegian salmon, fragrant truffle scrambled eggs, juicy and tender Australian wagyu striploin cooked to perfection and so much more.
All these dishes are magically crafted by The District’s Chef de Cuisine, Christian Caluwaert. When we asked him for suggestions “you have to try them all” was his reply and boy, he was right. This is a food lover’s’ heaven, seriously.
Save some room for dessert, and enjoy ice cream, chocolate, cakes, tarts, and more. (The carrot cheesecake is a must.)
The District also offers a fine dining experience in the evening that promises to be just as excellent as their Sunday Brunch. Try it any day of the week from 6pm to 11pm.
