Chiang Mai-hailing ‘Hummus Bangkok’ takes Middle Eastern fare up a notch in Soi Sukhumvit 22

This Chiang Mai-born Middle Eastern kitchen offers vegetarian options with a modern twist. Don’t expect your regular hummus-centric cuisine at its delivery-only Bangkok branch, though.

The humble chickpea spread here comes with a variety of nutritious toppings and pairings. Think hummus with diced avocado (THB210), sauteed seasonal mushrooms (THB210), roasted cauliflower (THB210), and even shakshuka (THB210). All are made to be paired with a plate of falafel (THB110), tahini on the side.

The small menu also boasts a handful of pita sandwiches, from the sabich, packed with fried eggplant, brown boiled egg, veggies, hummus, and more (THB140), to the classic falafel (THB140); four kinds of creative takes on shakshuka (from THB160); and sides like the roasted cauliflower (THB90)—an entire head cauliflower roasted and served with fresh tomato salsa, hot sauce, and chickpeas.

For dessert, try their signature muhallebi, coconut milk pudding with rose water, pomegranate molasses, and either sweet mango and sliced almonds or passionfruit (THB120 each).

Hummus Bangkok is currently offering delivery via Grab Food, Foodpanda, Line Man, and Robin Hood.
