Unoccupied Bangkok: Drone footage shows empty streets during protest shutdown

OK, well the streets weren’t totally empty and, to be fair, some of these shots were taken at the normally quiet Makkasan train cemetery…  but Bangkok sure was a lot less crazy than a normal Monday at rush hour. 

Why? Because anti-government protestors called for a Bangkok Shutdown campaign, closing off seven strategic intersections in the city, and causing most folks to stay home and skip work for the day.
