Souls of Bangkok: The Fusion Foodsmith

SOULS OF BANGKOK — Equal parts art gallery and restaurant, HOF Eat & Art offered a fusion of Japanese and Thai cuisine from the second floor of the Bangkok Art & Culture Centre. And Chatchakorn “Candy” Rattasap (Candy), who served the unifying demand for flavor from its diverse clientele, from curators to tourists.

“We make food that Thai people enjoy, while it reminds Japanese of their home-cooked meals,” she said. “Here, people are reminded of the tastes of comfort food that they love as children. So everyone shares a common flavour experience.”
