Always in our hearts: Thais pay homage to the late King Bhumibol at Grand Palace (PHOTO ESSAY)

Countless Thais continue to flock to the Grand Palace to pay homage and sign the condolence book to remember the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

On Wednesday evening, Coconuts took photos of citizens who had traveled from all over the country to honor the late HM the King. With love for their late monarch, the line to sign the condolence book reportedly stretched for kilometers while others chose to put flowers around the wall of the palace and pray.

Kindness could be observed around the grounds of Sanam Luang as many camped out to, not only pay respect to their beloved late king, but to facilitate others. Many gave away food and water while motorcycle taxi drivers gave rides to mourners for free.

Some volunteers got creative and offered their own professional services. A group of photographers stood around with their lighting and lenses and offered to take people’s photos for free. There was one woman who lent power banks for people to charge their phones and a group of barbers who gave away free haircuts.
