All Thai ATM withdrawals to be free during Songkran

It’s been announced that ATM usage will be free over Songkran as a courtesy to Thai tourists enjoying the holiday.

The banks included are all the members of The Thai Bankers’ Association. That means all of the big banks of Thailand including: Bangkok Bank, Kasikorn, SCB and Krungsri, and others.

The free service includes all withdrawals and deposits at both ATM and CDM machines throughout the country.

The no-fee period starts on midnight on April 13 and ends on April 17 at 11pm.
