A post initially shared on Facebook from a foreign woman who appears to be living in Bali has gone viral recently, as she boasted having her foster dog kill a cat, angering many Indonesians across various social media platforms.
The woman began her post by describing her hatred for cats, which she described as “disgusting” and serving “no bloody purpose.” She also shared a photo of what appears to be a dead feline, which she explained was the work of a dog she was fostering.

“I’m posting this to make all the Crazy Cat Ladies go absolutely bat-shit,” the woman wrote at the end of the post.
Many Indonesians were rightly angered by the post and a handful of them called on the woman to be reported to the police, with some also highlighting that the foster dog should be taken away from her care.
If it’s a foster dog, please pick him up. It’s not good to have the dog stay that long with someone sick like her.
This foreigner is sick, we must love any furry friend including cats because we are all God’s creatures, just report her so that the case can teach a lesson.
While animal abuse is generally not considered to be a serious offense in Indonesia, an article under the country’s criminal code states that animal abuse leading to the death of an animal is a crime punishable by up to nine months’ imprisonment, as well as a miniscule IDR300 (US$0.014) fine.

One of the more viral posts about this matter was shared by Bali Rumah Singgah Satwa (Bali Russ), a Balinese organization whose work focuses on helping stray animals. On Facebook, Bali Russ warned cat owners about the woman and condemned her for what she allegedly did.
The organization also wrote in the comments that they contacted people familiar with the dog, presumably in an attempt to remove it from the woman’s care.
