Two fishermen pulled out to sea on Saturday

Two fishermen were swept away by big waves in Nusa Penida, Klungkung on Saturday. After two days of searching, their fate remains unknown.

Adi Tago of Denpasar and Ketut Sukaja of Tabanan were thought to have been swept away by the big waves and fell into the sea on Saturday night, Tribun Bali reported.

Nusa Penida Police told Tribun Bali that so far, their searches have returned zero results—today they continued their search efforts with the water police, air police and the diving community of Toya Pakeh. They are covering a vast search area, searching not only the sea area around Nusa Penida but also Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Lembongan.

With the trecharious conditions that plagued Bali over the weekend (and not likely to ease anytime soon), we can only remain hopeful that this search brings a good outcome.
