A tourist reportedly fell off a cliff to her death at south Bali’s Balangan Beach early Wednesday morning.
The victim has been identified in local news reports as Turkish woman Kemaloglo alias Yelis, 32.
The woman allegedly had enjoyed two bottles of wine with her boyfriend and had then engaged in a fight with him before the deadly fall.
“After the fight, the victim and her boyfriend walked to the spa area of Lajoya Biu Biu, located on the edge of a cliff,” South Kuta Police Chief Commissioner I Wayan Latra told Tribun Bali.
After falling from the cliff, Yelis’ body, covered in blood from the fall, was evacuated from a bush that she had landed on at approximately 1 am.
Her body was sent to the morgue at Sanglah Hospital after handled by a team of Denpasar Police, Latra said.
