Police in Bali arrested a man, who we can’t help but suspect is a huge gym bro, over a viral video depicting physical assault.
In the video, which was reportedly taken on Sekuta Street in Sanur, the man, identified by his initials IBM, is seen confronting the victim. Based on their exchange, it appeared that IBM was angry that the victim chose not to drink with him and instead decided to hang out with IBM’s girlfriend.
IBM punched and kicked the other man while taunting him and showing off his biceps to the camera.
At one point, IBM said, “These are real muscles, bro.”
IBM was taken in for questioning by the South Denpasar Police on Wednesday.
“He (IBM) was drunk and confessed to hitting the man. We don’t know who he hit. We’re still trying to identify the victim,” South Denpasar Police Chief I Nyoman Wirajaya told Merdeka yesterday.
IBM has been released pending the victim filing charges against him.
