A group of tourists from Saudi Arabia were reportedly caught shoplifting at a duty free shop at Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport.

The news comes just as travel plans to Indonesian have been announced for Saudi Arabia’s King Salman. The king is bringing an entourage of 1,500—which most probably does not include this lot.

The five Saudi tourists were caught on Tuesday morning. They apparently distracted the salesman by pretending to be interested in buying perfume, while one stuffed a bottle of perfume worth Rp 1.2 million into their pocket, according to Tribun Bali.

The five nonchalantly headed for their departure gate, but their success was very short-lived.

“The Duty Free realized the perfumed was missing only a few moments later. After examining CCTV footage, the Saudi national was seen taking the perfume without paying,” Tribun Bali quoted an unidentified police source as saying on Tuesday evening.

Airport authorities were called and the five were taken to the airport’s police office for questioning before they could board their flight.
