Gearing for the holiday season when demand for booze is sky high, Klungkung Police is running Operation Pekat Agung 2015.
The operation reportedly lead to the confiscation of 440 liters of arak on Monday.
The arak was seized from a number of different places and was not all from one person, Klungkung Police spokesman Nyoman Sarjana told Tribun Bali.
And Sarjana says police are only going to start to amp up raids against unregulated alcohol from here on out.
“The operation targeting liquor without a label distribution is going to continue to intensify,” Sarjana said.
