German’s car smashed in, electronics worth hundreds of millions of rupiah claimed stolen: East Bali

A German’s car was broken into on Thursday in Kubu, Bali and hundreds of millions of rupiah were allegedly taken from inside.

The back windshield was smashed in when the German had been sightseeing in Sukadana, East Bali.

Allegedly stolen from the Toyota Yaris was a whole set of electronics, including two Canon cameras, an ipad, macbook, CD player, and DJ controller.

The German, who had been staying in Kuta, had just arrived around 4:30 pm, driving from Singaraja and then Tulamben.

The parking area seemed deserted, according to a Tribun Bali report, which noted that the perp apparently took advantage of the watch-less situation.

East Bali Police are investigating the car break-in, but have reportedly been struggling to find leads.
