Fogging across Tabanan, Bali done as dengue prevention

Mosquitoes are getting fogged out of Tabanan.

Disaster and response management organization Rescue Perindo conducted fogging around Tabanan on Thursday with the hopes of knocking out mozzies carrying the dengue fever virus that has been plaguing Bali. The mosquito-borne disease has reportedly been on the rise this year.

“There were 360 families we served with fogging activities in the region,” Perindo Rescue Chairman Adin Denny said, as quoted by Sindo News.

After doing the fogging, Rescue Perindo apparently put up stickers advising residents on dengue prevention: drain water reservoirs, bury secondhand goods, close water reservoirs, and practice environmental monitoring.
