The wife of an Indonesian footballer took to Instagram to warn her followers to be careful at Bali’s Melasti Beach, saying that her car got broken into there.
Jennifer Bachdim, a social media star in her own right with a following of over a half a million, posted a series of Instagram stories on Tuesday about the alleged car break-in.
Bachdim had been enjoying Melasti Beach with her husband, Bali United player, Irfan Bachdim, when they apparently fell victim to what Bachdim believes was a professional operation. It’s understood that the power couple is currently living in Bali with their two children.
With just a simple black background, Bachdim wrote on a story yesterday, “Someone broke into our car and stole our bags!!!” and “Why people do that???!!!”.
In the next story: “Be careful guys if you go to Pantai Melasti di Bali!!”
Following that up with, “We suppose it was a professional guy or group” and the tag #SAD.
However, the social media star decided to leave things on a positive note, with the sea and blue skies, writing, “but I’m still loving Bali!”.
Neither Bachdim nor her husband have yet spoken publicly about the alleged incident, according to local media.
