British tourist dies in Bali during Kintamani trek: reports

A British man has reportedly died in Bali during a mountain trek in Kintamani, Bali.

The body of Daniel David was found yesterday at Mt. Abang after the climber fell into a ravine, AAP reports.

It appears that David was not using a guide for his trek.

At about 2,150 meters, Mt. Abang is Bali’s third highest peak and the highest point of the Batur caldera. Abang is not as famous as Bali’s Agung and Batur mountains for trekking, but is still known for its sunrise views and jungle landscape.
