Police seem to be making little headway on their investigation of a German woman who was found murdered in Bali last month.
The body of the 67-year-old German woman mysteriously turned up floating in the Yeh Ho River in Tabanan on Jan. 26, three days after she had apparently been reported missing.
Until now, police have yet to determine a suspect.
Police brought a contractor for the German’s villa, under suspicion, in for questioning but released him after 24 hours for lack of evidence and did not officially declare him a suspect.
Tabanan Police Superintendent Marsdianto says evidence is still being collected and many witnesses have been interviewed.
“We are still developing and collecting evidence. At the moment, we’ve already interviewed around 20 witnesses,” Marsdianto said on Thursday, as quoted by Tribun Bali.
