Bali officials seemed to be pretty offended, if not insecure, by that Australian government travel alert issued on Monday, warning off citizens from visiting Indonesia as they keep responding to it and mentioning it this week.

Bali Police are keen on showing Australia that the island is secure and under control despite the government’s concerns.
“We have intensified security measures in several vital tourist attractions in Bali. We call on the foreign tourists to not be afraid to visit Bali,” said Bali Police Senior Commissioner Hery Wiyanto, as published on a post by Bernama.
But it’s not just police officers that are getting sent out. Intelligence officers will also be deployed to big Bali tourist attractions, according to Wiyanto.
But security is the same business as usual for foreign representatives in Bali, Wiyanto added.
