48 foreigners arrested in Jimbaran for alleged visa violations

Ngurah Rai Immigration officers have reportedly detained 48 foreign nationals. 

The tourists allegedly violated their visas, reports Tribun Bali

According to Muhammad Sholeh, the head of supervision and immigration enforcement, the 47 Chinese people and 1 Taiwanese person were abusing their visit visas—but not much other details were given on how exactly the alleged violators broke the law. 

“We are still investigating the perpetrators for visa abuse. The perpetrators were arrested on Jl. Goa Gong, Villa Bali Residence no. 88, Jimbaran,” Sholeh told Tribun.
