Jimbaran is a relatively peaceful (for south Bali) fishing village located in Badung and lies south of the airport. The village has a long bay coastline on the southwestern part of Bali and also has some five-star hotels and other accommodation options. The bay is well known for its seafood stalls that let tourists pick their seafood and have it cooked as they like. The village also has a sizable fish market where you can get your catch fresh. On the western coast, Jimbaran’s got some pretty epic sunsets. The town is also home to a branch of Udayana, Bali’s biggest public university.
